Meet your tour guide.

I'm a lifelong entrepreneur with over 50 years of startup experience. I'm also a recent Purpose Prize Fellow, which AARP describes as being "about a new story of aging - focusing on experience and innovation and the idea that our aging population is an untapped resource full of possibilities."

This is the Renaissance age of innovation and entrepreneurship... and it's just beginning.

My goal for Sustainable Work is to help people in the second half of life approach entrepreneurship as a viable option for both personal growth and helping their communities.

I have a decades long success record in for-profit business startups, non-profits, and economic development organizations. I maintain strong professional networks in these fields.

I am honored that my work as an entrepreneur has been recognized nationally for innovation excellence. I received the 'Fast 50 Award' from Fast Company Magazine ('The Fast 50 are the idea elite of business, individuals with the vision and personal commitment to propel their companies and industries into the future.') This award is now called The World's 50 Most Innovative Companies. I am an inventor and hold multiple US and foreign patents in green manufacturing that I successfully commercialized worldwide. I received the United States Small Business New Product of the Year Award, presented by the National Society of Professional Engineers in 2005. I have also been twice awarded New Product of the Year for the State of Wisconsin.

Sustainable Work helps fulfill a lifelong dream to support people considering entrepreneurship, especially those in the second half of life - ageless entrepreneurs. As the subtitle says: Start small. Start smart. Start right now.

Welcome!
